The possible discovery of the new dwarf planet adds wrinkles to the planet New Theory

A team of scientists at the Advanced Study Institute Study of Princeton Natural Sciences, New Jersey, could have found a new dwarf planet, which can lead to more evidence of a theoretical super-planet.

Scientists announced in a statement that they have found a trans-neptune object (TNO), called Code 2017of201, above the frozen and desolate region of Kuplier belt.

The TNO, described as smaller planets orbiting the sun at a greater distance than Neptune, were found on the shores of our solar system.

Although there are many other TNOs in the solar system, which makes 2017OF201 its great size and extreme orbit.

One of the team’s teams, Sihao Cheng, along with Jiaxuan Li and Eitas Yang of Princeton University, made the discovery.

The team used advanced computational methods to identify the distinctive trace pattern of the object in the sky.

“The Afelion of the object, the farthest point of the orbit from the Sun, is more than 1600 times that of the Earth’s orbit,” CHEng said in launch. “Meanwhile, its perihelion, the nearest point of its orbit in the Sun, is 44.5 times that of the Earth’s orbit, similar to the Pluto orbit.”

In 2017of201 it takes about 25,000 years to orbit the sun, making it suggesting that “he must have experienced nearby encounters with a giant planet, making it expelled to a wide orbit.”

Cheng also added that there may be more than one step in its migration.

“This object may be expelled for the first time in the Oort Cloud, the farthest region of our solar system, which houses many comets and then sent again,” said Cheng.

This discovery has significant implications for the current understanding of the disposition of our external solar system.

According to NASA, astronomers at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), Konstantin Batygin and Mike Brown, in January 2016 announced research that provided tests for a planet about 1.5 times the size of the Earth in the outside solar system.

However, the existence of the X planet or the new planet is strictly theoretical, as no astronomer has observed this planet.

“Although advances in telescopes have allowed us to explore distant parts of the universe, there is still much to be discovered on our own solar system,” said Cheng. (Reuters/Hubble & NASA/Card through Reuters)

The theory puts the planet around the same size as Neptune, very past Pluto somewhere near the Kuiper belt, where it was in 2017of201.

If it exists, it is theorized to have a mass of up to ten times more than the Earth with a distance of up to 30 times more than Neptune in the Sun.

It would take between 10,000 and 20,000 years of land to make a complete orbit around the Sun.

However, the area beyond the Kuiper belt, where the object is located, had been thought to be essentially empty, but the discovery of the team suggests that this is not the case.

Cheng said in the statement that in 2017of201 it only has about 1% of its orbit.

“Although advances in telescopes have allowed us to explore distant parts of the universe, there is still much to be discovered on our own solar system,” said Cheng.

NASA mentioned that if the Nine planet exists, it could help explain the unique orbits of some smaller objects in the far Kuiper belt.

From now on, the Nine planet is still less a theory, but the existence of this distant world is based on the gravitational patterns of the outer solar system.
